The recent investments made at the Pont-à-Mousson workshop directly meet this objective: reducing time to market and optimizing costs thanks to the internal manufacturing of tools and prototypes.
1. Integration of 3D Printing for prototyping and tooling
The arrival of a new 3D printing machine allows us to directly manufacture custom tools as well as functional prototypes in-house. This equipment brings great flexibility and significantly accelerates testing and prototyping phases prior to mass production
2. Reinforcement of the sheet metal shop: A new small-format press brake
To meet the high global demand for sheet metal parts, the workshop equipped itself with a second small-format press brake. By instantly doubling the overall small-format bending capacity, DR. FISCHER guarantees better fluidity across its assembly and manufacturing line.
A comprehensive, high-performance sheet metal and finishing line
Thanks to these new pieces of equipment, DR. FISCHER’s sheet metal and finishing workshop in Pont-à-Mousson now features a complete fleet of state-of-the-art machinery:
2 small-format press brakes for high-precision bending of light and medium parts;
1 large-format press brake dedicated to larger structures;
1 high-technology laser cutting machine;
1 deburring machine ensuring a flawless finish with no sharp edges;
1 powder coating booth allowing surface protection and finishing directly on-site.
