How Infrared is Revolutionizing Luxury Candle Finishing
In the candle industry, perfection is measured in tenths of a millimeter. A “mirror” finish and a smooth, consistent surface are the hallmarks of high-quality products. At DR. FISCHER Europe, we met the challenge of an expert client by creating a custom-made infrared (IR) module dedicated to thermal smoothing.
In this first episode of our “Inside the Light” series, we take you into the heart of our workshops to discover the birth of this technological solution.
Behind the Scenes of Creation
Through this video, we invite you behind the curtain. Discover the manufacturing stages of the structure and the precise movements of our technicians during the final assembly of the module. This is where technology meets the craftsmanship of our production teams.
Technical Specifications of the Module
Specifically designed to heat flat surfaces over an area of 1450×400 mm, this high-performance module integrates 6 infrared lamps of 3000W each, for a total power of 18 kW.
To guarantee maximum efficiency and system longevity, the unit is equipped with highly reflective stainless steel reflectors and 4 cooling fans.
Custom R&D Support
At DR. FISCHER Europe, every project begins with attentive listening. We don’t just sell products; we solve specific problems. Whether it’s optimizing drying times or achieving perfect wax smoothing, our sales team works in close collaboration with our Research & Development department to design the thermal solution best suited to your technical constraints.
Much More Than a Lamp Manufacturer: Industrial Mastery from A to Z
While we are globally recognized for our infrared lamps, our expertise extends much further. Thanks to our own integrated sheet metal workshop, we master the entire value chain. This autonomy allows us to guarantee responsiveness and irreproachable finishing quality:
- Programming and Laser Cutting: For surgical precision of metal structures.
- Bending and Laser Welding: Robust shaping for durable and high-performance chassis.
- Electronic Assembly and Integration: Meticulous installation of our emitters and control components.
This vertical integration makes us a unique partner, capable of delivering complete, ready-to-use infrared (or ultraviolet) systems.
